  • have an average of 10 or more years of teaching experience
  • hold a Master\’s degree and/or a Doctoral degree
  • are active professionally by presenting at state, national, and international conferences
  • are published authors
  • Many programs in professional and technical careers that offer certificates, as well as 2-year Associate of Arts and Science degrees
  • The Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer (AAOT) degree can be earned at Lane
  • Students with an AAOT degree may enter an Oregon four-year university as a third-year student
  • On-campus housing not available
  • Many apartments, rooms and houses for rent near the college
  • Homestays available with American families
  • Homestay coordinator can help with housing needs
The International Program offers extensive student services:

  • orientation to local transportation, banking, and health services
  • academic advising
  • special trips to scenic places in Oregon
  • organized activities to help students make friends and enjoy their stay in Oregon
  • Estimated costs for one term of study is $2,550 for the Intensive English Program and $2740 for full time credit level classes.
  • Health insurance is required and can be purchased for $200 per term.
  • If you can show proof of comparable health insurance, this cost can be waived.
